Creative Nature Named Micro Business Of The Year At The International Trade Awar

Pioneering UK-based free-from food brand, Creative Nature, has been named Micro Business of the Year at the International Trade Awards.

The awards ceremony took place last month at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London City, where Creative Nature was recognised for its outstanding achievements in international trade.

Founded in 2012 by Julianne Ponan MBE, Creative Nature started as a response to Julianne’s personal experience with multiple food allergies and anaphylaxis. With a vision to create safe, delicious food that people with food allergies can enjoy, Creative Nature has been at the forefront of the free-from-food movement. Their range of snacks and treats are designed to be not only allergen-free but also tasty and inclusive, ensuring that people with food restrictions never have to compromise on flavour or variety.

Julianne shared her joy at winning the award, saying: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have won Micro Business of the Year. To be recognised alongside such incredible businesses like BRITEthink and Swift Borders LTD is a huge honour.

“Winning feels like a reflection of the entire Creative Nature team, and it’s a reminder of how far we’ve come. We’re more determined than ever to make safe, delicious food available to people worldwide.”

The International Trade Awards, held annually, celebrate businesses across the UK that have excelled in the global marketplace. Now in their 17th year, the awards are organised by the Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade (CIE). These awards highlight businesses that have demonstrated outstanding achievements in export growth, innovation, and sustainability.

Each year, businesses from a variety of sectors are recognised for their commitment to expanding international trade, breaking into new markets, and successfully promoting British products abroad. The Micro Business of the Year category specifically honours companies with fewer than 10 employees that have made a significant impact on international trade.

Julianne also said “Exporting has been a crucial part of our growth journey at Creative Nature. We’re passionate about offering allergen-safe food to consumers worldwide, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see that our products are making a difference internationally. The demand for inclusive food is global, and we’re excited to continue expanding our reach and ensuring that more people, no matter where they are, can enjoy our safe and delicious snacks.”

Creative Nature is a pioneering brand in the free-from-food industry, committed to providing high-quality, delicious, and safe food options for people with allergies and dietary restrictions. Find out more about Creative Nature
