The Thames Valley Business & Community Awards 2026 have announced their shortlisted nominees after a record-breaking year, with over 1,460 nominations received from across the region.

Thames Valley Business & Community AwardsThe awards celebrate excellence, innovation, leadership and social impact across businesses, charities and individuals operating throughout the Thames Valley. This year’s nominations reflected the strength, diversity and resilience of the region, spanning sectors including technology, professional services, hospitality, manufacturing, education, charity and social enterprise.

Judges commented on the exceptionally high standard of submissions, noting that the volume and quality of nominations made the shortlisting process one of the most competitive in the awards’ history.

Alec Jones-Hall, Founder of the Thames Valley Business & Community Awards, said:

“This year’s awards have been truly exceptional. Receiving over 1,460 nominations is a clear reflection of the strength, ambition and community spirit that exists across the Thames Valley. The quality of entries made the judging process incredibly challenging, and every shortlisted nominee should be extremely proud. These awards are about recognising those who are making a real difference — driving growth, innovation and positive impact across business and the wider community.”

Among this year’s shortlisted nominees is Grace Muir MBE, who has been shortlisted in the Lifetime Achievement category. Grace is the founder of the HEROS Charity (Homing Ex-Racehorses Organisation Scheme) and has dedicated more than two decades to animal welfare and community impact, helping to rehome over 1,000 former racehorses while also creating positive educational and development opportunities for people through the charity’s programmes. Her nomination reflects the long-term contribution and sustained impact recognised across this year’s shortlist.

The winners will be announced on 27 February 2026 at a black-tie awards ceremony held at The Hilton Reading, Berkshire, bringing together business leaders, entrepreneurs and community champions from across the Thames Valley.

The Thames Valley Business & Community Awards continue to play a vital role in championing local success stories, recognising those who not only achieve excellence in their field but also contribute to the long-term prosperity and wellbeing of their communities.

A full list of shortlisted nominees is available via the official awards website.
