Document Management Company Filestream Is The Headline Sponsor Of The Great British Expos 2023

Document management specialist company Filestream is the headline sponsor of this year’s Great British Expos regional business events. It is the second time that the company has sponsored the expos.

Each year, over 12,000 SMEs from the UK attend these regional events to network, conduct business and find new suppliers. The expos have gained the respect of the wider business world with repeat exhibitors and sponsors, including Barclays Bank, Lexus, Lloyds Bank, Just Cash Flow PLC and Vodafone.

The first event of the year will take place in Wales at the All Nations Centre in Cardiff on March 31. Further expos will take place throughout the year in London, Bristol, Reading, Swindon, Birmingham and Manchester.

Paul Day, technical director at Filestream, said: “It’s wonderful to be able to support SMEs through the expos.Paul Day - Filestream We feel that we are giving back to the business community by helping people come together, face-to-face, to network and find solutions for their business, whether that be putting themselves in front of potential new customers or identifying new products or ways of working.”

Filestream’s sponsorship will help to deliver fully-fledged live keynote speeches by leading entrepreneurs, expert 1-2-1 clinics, Q&A panels and funding sessions. Delegates will be able to join in with interactive workshops and masterclasses, all designed to address real-life business issues. Attendees will also be able to network with other businesses and suppliers, all thanks to Filstream’s sponsorship of the Great British Expos.

Expo organiser Alec Jones Hall said: “We are pleased Filestream has renewed its sponsorship of Great British Expos. Through their support, we can create a platform across the UK for aspiring entrepreneurs, SMEs, and startup owners to meet up, network, and grow their business post-covid. We look forward to working with them in 2023 and mutually helping UK SMEs through these challenging times.”

Although the majority of delegates at the expos (70%) come from established SMEs with a minimum of five years of trading and a turnover of £3 million upwards, 30% come from a mix of large corporates and new-start-ups. Over the past 10 years, more than 5,000 exhibitors and almost 60,000 delegates have attended the expos. They take place in cities and towns across the UK including Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester, Swindon, Reading and Twickenham.

Filestream provides document management software to some of the biggest brands and also to some world-famous celebrities who run their own personal brands. Their customers include Anglia Farmers, University of Hull, Kingsley Health Care, Carnival UK, Scania and BNP Paribas.

The company’s software was originally created in 2003 when its founder Charles Hooker saw the future in the digital space and moved away from his original business of selling hardware such as photocopiers. Find out more about Filestream here https://www.filestreamsystems.co.uk
