Amazon UK’s retailers will save time with automated accounting solutions delivered by innovative cloud accounting software provider

FreeAgent, an online accounting provider, has revealed a new integration with Amazon’s Selling Partner Appstore. This integration aims to streamline the financial administrative tasks associated with selling on the platform, ultimately saving retailers time and money.

Transactions will be automatically imported into FreeAgent with no limit on the quantity of data processed. The software will accurately record the sales income and expenditure generated through selling on Amazon, reducing the manual admin required for businesses that sell on UK Amazon Marketplace.

The announcement represents one of the first direct integrations between Amazon and UK-based accounting software and will provide customers with a cost effective marketplace solution on the App store.

The Selling Partner App store is a one-stop-shop where small and medium-sized businesses that sell on Amazon can easily discover quality applications to help them automate, manage and grow their business. Accessible from Seller Central, the Selling Partner App store features applications created by Amazon and external Software Partners and covers a range of functionalities across the selling lifecycle.

The add-on is relevant to thousands of existing FreeAgent customers, who will be able to use the service free of charge until April 2024. Following the promotional period, retailers will be able to subscribe to the service for a monthly fee of £6+VAT.

Roan Lavery, CEO and co-founder of FreeAgent said,  “We’re always working to help businesses become happier Roan Lavery, CEO and co-founder of FreeAgentand more successful by putting them in control of their finances.

With this announcement, we hope to introduce thousands of small business owners to the most cost-effective and sophisticated integration between accounting software and Amazon’s store – allowing them to trade online and manage their finances more easily and effectively than ever.

“Through our research at FreeAgent, we know that more than a third (37%) of small business owners say they have experienced burnout as a result of running a business. By partnering with Amazon, we aim to help online sellers to save valuable time, money and stress associated with staying on top of their sales and financial admin.”
