Leadership Specialists Launch ‘Velocity’ Programme To Help Caring CEOs Race Ahead In 2022

Leadership specialists Caroline Esterson and Wendy Gannaway are launching a new programme to help leaders navigate and succeed in the new world of business.

The pair, who co-founded Genius Learning almost ten years ago, believe 2022 will require leaders in business, charities and public service organisations to step up as never before.

Caroline said: “Organisations have faced seismic challenges over the past two years which place increasing demands on leaders – and that’s not going away. We are in a new world.

“The pandemic, rising customer expectations and COP26 are challenging strategic goals and the way people relate to their work. The rise of hybrid and remote working has led to greater mobility and demands from staff to maintain flexible work arrangements.”

The pair who have worked in leadership and management training for more than 50 years between them, believe those companies which don’t take these steps will find staff recruitment and retention more and more difficult.

“Leaders need to manage beyond the numbers and work to build strong, trusting relationship with their teams against a backdrop of ever-increasing ambiguity. Results revolve around relationships, particularly now and the challenge is immense,” Wendy said.

The pair believe that future business success will come to brands and companies which embrace and empower their people before chasing profit. Those brands and businesses with a poor track record of supporting and caring for their teams will be increasingly at risk of stagnation and failure.

“The world is changing fundamentally – the data is showing it already. What younger employees care about now when taking a role, or moving to another role, moves beyond just salary. They want a competitive salary, security and they want a work/life balance where they feel valued. If they are not, they will move on with no regrets,” Caroline said.

To help leaders jumpstart 2022 Genius Learning have developed a comprehensive digital programme for ‘making it’ in leadership called ‘Velocity’.

Velocity provides essential, practical support – the mindset, skill set and tool set needed to drive performance in this hybrid world.

 It will ensure leaders become:

  • Inspirers & organisers,
  • Planners & doers,
  • Thinkers and innovators.

This digital programme turns traditional leadership training on its head so rather than offering up models and academic theories it is rooted in the real everyday challenges that leaders face. It will provide the skills and tools to adapt, challenge and drive change.

Caroline and Wendy and their team of associates work routinely online and in person with teams to support team building with ambitious yet ethical business leaders. They have worked with brands including Michael Kors, EON, EE, Boden, Fenwick and many more. For more information go to https://www.inspireyourgenius.com/velocity
