Uber for Business launches Business Exec in the UK

Uber for Business, Uber’s corporate travel management platform, has launched Business Exec as a booking option for UK business travellers, enabling them to book luxury vehicles on-demand or in advance.

When requesting a ride via their corporate Uber account, travellers can now select Business Exec alongside other ride types such as Uber Green, which offers sustainable trips. This will ensure they are picked up in a luxury vehicle with extra legroom and a top-rated driver.

Riders are given more time to meet their ride before facing a cancellation charge – up to 15 mins for reserved rides and 60 minutes for reserved airport pickups. They also benefit from dedicated Uber for Business phone support on trip if needed and receive on-time pick up protection with compensation automatically applied to their Uber account if a driver arrives late.

Jenna Brown, Director of Uber for Business UK, said: “People who are taking trips for business want to get to their destination on time and in comfort, so they can put their energy into their work. We know things don’t always go to plan though – flights can be delayed and meetings can overrun. Business Exec factors in this flexibility, providing travellers with the option to reserve a ride or book on-demand, and offers extended driver wait time.”

Executive and personal assistants can arrange a Business Exec ride on behalf of their senior team, while benefitting from all the features that come as part of the Uber for Business offering. EAs have access to phone support for trips taken by their executives in addition to receipt forwarding and automated expensing available on Uber for Business.

Business Exec is the latest Uber for Business offering aimed at providing business travellers with comfortable and convenient travel options, following the launch of Business Comfort as a ride option in 2023.
