Founders charity dinner set to raise funds for epilepsy care

Business leaders from across the country are coming together for a dedicated Founder’s Dinner to raise vital funds for Leo’s Angels, the memorial fund dedicated to harnessing technology to transform epilepsy care and save lives.
Founded in memory of Leo, who tragically died in 2023 from Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP), Leo’s Angels is dedicated to driving technological innovation in epilepsy care. The initiative was founded by Leo’s mum Emma, CEO of Embridge Consulting, the digital transformation specialist empowering people, processes and technology.
The dinner, set to take place on 14th July, is being organised by Warners Distillery with all hospitality provided by EY. There are 48 tickets available, with all proceeds going directly to Leo’s Angels to help develop solutions for those living with epilepsy.
Each attendee will enjoy a welcome drink, a three-course meal and an accompanying glass of wine, as well as the chance to participate in a raffle and auction to raise further funds. Warners Distillery will also be providing a range of pre-mix cocktails. Early arrivals are welcome to attend from 5.30pm, with main entry set to start at 6.30pm and the evening due to finish at 10.30pm with an 11pm close.
Having navigated fragmented healthcare systems when caring for Leo, Emma and her family are now dedicated to funding and developing tools that enhance data-driven decision-making for clinicians, empower families with real-time information and updates, and integrate seamlessly within healthcare systems to reduce delays in treatment.
With her expertise in digital transformation, Emma boasts a strong track record in enabling organisations to overhaul business operations by empowering people, processes and technology, and is calling out for support from organisations globally to sponsor the initiative and accelerate the critical developments that are needed.
Speaking ahead of the dinner, Emma said: “Raising funds in Leo’s honour is an important part of keeping his memory alive, and the upcoming dinner is an exciting opportunity to raise as much money as possible. Every penny will go towards improving epilepsy care and patient outcomes, helping those living with epilepsy access the high quality, efficient care they deserve.
“We’re extremely thankful to everyone at EY and Warners Distillery for their support and generosity in helping us put this event together. It’s going to be a fantastic evening for a very worthy cause and is going to make a real difference.”
