Google Signs Two-Year Deal with Theo Paphitis’ #SBS Small Business Sunday

TV Dragon Theo Paphitis is delighted to share that he has just signed a multi-year deal with industry leader Google to be the Headline Partner for his leading UK business network #SBS Small Business Sunday, including for the free inspiring small business events #SBSEvent2025 and #SBSEvent2026.

On signing this multi-year deal, retail entrepreneur Theo Paphitis said: “I am delighted that Google has come back on board to be our headline partner, this time for the next two years – a true testament to the importance of UK small businesses. The support of Google, a pioneering household name, is a huge boost to members of the #SBS network and sends a resounding message of support to the UK SMEs out there looking for an opportunity to turn their dreams into reality. By #SBSEvent2025, #SBS will have been supporting businesses for 15 years, and with the backing of industry leaders like Google, small businesses will continue to be in good hands for many, many more years.”

Google’s VP of UK Marketing, Eileen Mannion  said: “We’re excited to be working with Theo Paphitis and his team on this year’s Small Business Sunday event. SBS is a great platform to connect with a variety of entrepreneurs, learn how AI-powered technologies can fuel business growth, and  discover  essential skills training, tools and programmes that will help small businesses to unlock their full potential.”

The #SBS Small Business Sunday network offers winners a free opportunity every year to attend the #SBSEvent; the annual highlight for many small businesses in the UK, offering a free day out of the office like no other. It is an opportunity to hear from industry experts, engage in workshops and network with like-minded small business owners.

Over 1,000 SMEs travelled to the ICC Birmingham last February for #SBSEvent2024, and they were treated to a day filled to the brim with workshops and opportunities to upskill. Attendees were also treated to a session from Google on how businesses can integrate AI into their business, and a Fireside Chat with TV Icon Stacey Solomon.

#SBS Small Business Sunday is a free small business community with over 4,000 SMEs in the network – all working together to thrive in the UK’s small business sector, through the support of headline partner Google, and other #SBS partners NatWest, DHL, HP, Spring Fair, FreeAgent, Ryman, Robert Dyas, the UK Export Academy and SumUp.
