Qualified nutritional therapist Caroline Peyton of Peyton Principles has pledged to support community charity The Churn Project for the rest of 2021.

Caroline, who has run clinics in Wiltshire and Gloucestershire for 11 years will be undertaking a series of activities to support the work carried out by The Churn team who provide services for hundreds of local people in the Cirencester area, reducing isolation, promoting wellbeing and creating opportunities to learn and achieve.

“This year I wanted to give something back to the community,” Caroline said. “In what has been a very challenging year for all of us, I’m aware that for some people it’s been utterly terrible. They may be lonely and isolated, they may be suffering from mental health issues or they may have suffered deep loss.

“I was aware of The Churn Project’s work and have committed to raise £1,000 across the year which is no small feat for a micro business owner!”

Ailsa O’Connor, community liaison and events coordinator for The Churn Project is thrilled with Caroline’s commitment.

“We’re celebrating our 20th anniversary this year so this has come at a wonderful time.  It’s so lovely to have our work recognised and supported by Caroline and we wish her well with her ambitious target!  For our part, we can guarantee that everything she raises will be put to very good use as we carry on our long tradition of supporting people in our local community.”

Caroline intends to raise the money through a series of activities this year. The first takes place next month where she will donate half of the proceeds from a two week nutrition and wellbeing challenge programme starting on Monday March 15. Anyone interested in the challenge will be able to register soon. Details will be available by joining her Facebook group here https://www.facebook.com/groups/healthlifestylenutrition

Caroline is also planning to run an online health and wellbeing auction in the Spring with further activities to be announced.

Qualifying in 2009, Caroline set up her business in 2010 and runs clinics at Whiteway Court, The Whiteway, Cirencester, another in Kempsford and a third in Swindon’s Old Town.  Caroline was also a founder member of the national Naturopathic Nutrition Association which is one of the professional associations for nutritional therapists. She’s still a member today. She specialises in nutritional therapy, gut and digestive issues and she’s an advocate of wellbeing in the workplace.
