In May 2024 HM The King and HM The Queen granted their first Royal Warrants of Appointment of the new reign.

The grants were made to companies drawn from those previously holding a Royal Warrant of Appointment to His Majesty as Prince of Wales, who began granting Warrants in 1980.

Companies were reviewed and 145 were granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment to HM The King.  Of these, Made In Britainseven companies were also granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment to HM The Queen.

The Made In Britain members below granted the honour of a Royal Warrant this year reflect some of the particular interests of the new King, His Majesty’s longstanding commitment to environmental and social values for example, and his love for Scotland and the great outdoors. These manufacturers produce goods in British factories and meet the quality criteria to also display the Made in Britain trademark. They are:

Campbell’s of Beauly near Inverness are a Highland Tailor specialising in tweeds and traditional outdoor sporting wear with a heritage going back to 1858.

Carbon Gold founded by Craig Sams, originally founder of Green & Blacks Chocolate, manufactures Biochar soil improver, an organic approved alternative to peat for improving soil health and giving nutrients to plants.

Dartington Crystal from Devon are world famous for their glass and under their Royal Brierley crystalware brand have been Royal Warrant holders since 1919.

Delphis Eco manufactures ecological cleaning products for domestic and professional use in recyclable packaging and were first granted a Royal Warrant by the then Prince of Wales in 2014.

Heirlooms is a family run British manufacturer of quality bed, table and bathroom linens with workshops in West Sussex.

Mark Jankovic of Made in Britain member Delphis Eco, and winner of ‘Sustainable Leader of the Year’ in their Impact Awards 2023 says “For us, here at Delphis, the majority of our sales right now are in the UK and our Royal Warrants are central to our DNA in that we believe our products are best in class and are proud that they have been chosen and used by the two Royal’ households for so many years.  We are very proud to feature our Royal Warrants in our marketing, and it certainly underpins the quality and effectiveness of our products which is enormously important to us and our customers.”
