Currys Business helps Winchesters Lettings streamline appliance management across a 1,100-property portfolio

Currys Business has helped Winchesters Lettings, a leading property management company based in Aberdeen, simplify appliance replacement and delivery across its 1,100-property portfolio. By combining a personalised local service with seamless CRM integration, Currys Business has improved speed, reliability and tenant experience, enabling Winchesters Lettings to operate more efficiently at scale.

 Tackling Existing Challenges

Winchesters Lettings had been relying on a mix of suppliers that were designed for one-off consumer purchases, rather than the complex requirements of a large-scale management company. As a result, the business suffered from inefficiencies, limits to communication and support, and recurring delivery issues which can create challenges for tenants.

Integrating Currys Business services directly into Winchesters Lettings’ CRM maintenance system resulted in faster approvals, clearer tracking and real-time updates for both staff and tenants. This reduced delays, improved visibility across orders, and helped maintain consistently high tenant satisfaction scores. The combination of local expertise, national scale and integrated systems set Curry Business apart from traditional retail-focused suppliers.

While the initial focus was on providing replacement white goods in good time for tenants, Winchesters Lettings now purchases additional technology, including TVs and mixed electricals, for its own use. Every order includes delivery, installation, recycling, and, when required, care and repair services.

 Building the Partnership

Winchesters Lettings needed a technology solutions provider that could save time, simplify processes, and deliver a positive experience for both staff and tenants with a range of quality products.

Iain Morrison and the team at Currys Business Aberdeen responded by offering a personalised touch. From sourcing and quoting to delivery, installation and recycling, the team managed the entire appliance replacement process end to end, supported by direct depot relationships when needed. Currys Business quickly became “lifesavers and game changers”, according to Chris Minchin, Owner at Winchesters Lettings.

Chris Minchin said: “Currys Business has become an extension of our team. The Aberdeen branch have taken what used to be a time-consuming and frustrating process and turned it into something quick, efficient, and reliable. It’s a real breath of fresh air to work with a big brand that genuinely invests in relationships and delivers on its promises.”

Iain Morrison, Currys Business Aberdeen, added: “Our relationship has grown beyond transactions, and we have built a strong personal connection with Chris and the Winchesters Lettings team. The team has spoken so highly of us at property networking events in Aberdeen and this has led to new business opportunities and referrals for the branch too.”

Chris Minchin concluded: “For organisations like ours struggling with time-consuming appliance ordering and delivery management, Currys Business offers a solution that is quick, efficient, and cost-effective. The team at the Aberdeen branch go the extra mile and they are a real asset to any business.

“In one sentence, Currys Business is an extension of our team – quick, efficient, and cost-effective.”

The partnership demonstrates how Currys Business supports landlords with cost-effective, reliable solutions that reduce operational friction while improving tenant outcomes at scale.
