Rockinghorse Children’s Charity has an exciting line-up of events and needs individuals, groups, and teams to join them in raising vital funds for children across Sussex.

As the official charity of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital, they have supported babies, children, and young adults in Sussex for over 55 years. These upcoming events play a crucial role in the success and impact Rockinghorse has in the community.

First in the line-up on 2 September is the Inflatable 5K at Goodwood Racecourse in Chichester. Participants can bounce, run, walk, and jump around the UK’s biggest and best inflatable course and tackle 32 gigantic obstacles to raise money. Registration is £25, and Rockinghorse asks participants to raise a minimum of £100 each.

If inflatables aren’t your thing, you can always tackle the South Coast Challenge with Ultra Challenge Series on 2-3 September. This one isn’t for the light-hearted; you can walk, jog, or run up to 100 km from Eastbourne to Arundel. Registration ranges from £15 to £110 (depending on the distance), and Rockinghorse asks participants to raise £135-£595.

Are you an avid runner and looking for your next race? On 8 October, you can run the Royal Parks Half Marathon in the beautiful scenery of Hyde Park in London. Registration is £30, and Rockinghorse asks participants to raise £350.

Last but certainly not least is the Rockinghorse Bonfire Quiz! On 2 November, from 7.30 – 10.30 pm, teams of 4, 6 or 8 can participate in an excellent general knowledge trivia quiz, enjoy a tasty meal and a welcome glass of fizz at the 1st Central County Ground in Hove, all in aid of Rockinghorse.

With so many exciting and thrilling events coming up from September to November, block these dates out in your calendar, and support Rockinghorse in providing life-saving medical equipment and additional services to improve the lives of sick children throughout Sussex.
