Double Celebration For Entrepreneur As She Scoops National And Local Awards

Herefordshire entrepreneur Becky Wall BEM is celebrating a remarkable double success – having been named Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 at the Herefordshire Means Business Awards and also receiving a Silver Award for Lifetime Achievement at the national Best Business Women Awards 2025.

The Herefordshire Means Business Awards event took place at The Paddocks Hotel, Symonds Yat, where almost 300 guests, business friends and acquaintances gathered to recognise excellence across the county.

Becky, co-owner of Loo of the Year Awards Ltd and co-founder of A Plush Flush, was shortlisted for two categories: Entrepreneur of the Year and Business Leader of the Year.

“I am still pinching myself.” said Becky. “To be announced Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 is such a proud moment. This award recognises my work with both A Plush Flush and Loo of the Year Awards, but it’s truly a shared success with my husband Charles, who co-owns and runs both businesses, and with our daughters, family members and close friends who’ve supported us for over 20 years.”

This exciting local win follows Becky’s recognition on the national stage earlier this month when she received a Silver Lifetime Achievement Award at the Best Business Women Awards 2025. The awards, held at the Daventry Court Hotel, recognise women who are not only building successful businesses but also creating positive impact and inspiring others to follow.

“It’s an incredible honour to be a silver award winner in the Lifetime Achievement category,” Becky said. “It was an extremely competitive field and humbling to be placed alongside other amazing women in business. To be recognised both locally and nationally in the same month is just incredible.”

Becky and her husband Charles Wall established A Plush Flush in 2005 after spotting a gap in the market for luxury mobile washrooms for events, private occasions and festivals. Based in Herefordshire, the business has provided high-quality facilities for two decades.

A Plush Flush was also a regular entrant and supporter of the Loo of the Year Awards, a long-established UK-wide quality grading system celebrating venues offering outstanding washrooms. In 2021, Becky and Charles took over the awards as Directors, and since then the scheme has gone from strength to strength, now averaging more than 1,500 entries annually.

Through both ventures, Becky continues to champion better toilets for all, whether by celebrating washroom excellence through the Loo of the Year Awards or delivering top-quality mobile facilities via A Plush Flush.
