Well Known Businesswoman Named South West Networker Of The Year

Rachel Matwiejczyk Booth, the sales and marketing director of digital news and marketing hub Total Swindon has been named Networker of the Year in the South West Business & Community Awards.

Rachael, who lives in Swindon with her family, is well known in Swindon, Bath and Bristol for her positive approach to collaboration, support and success across the South West and she was given her award at a sell-out gala event in Swindon at the Doubletree Hilton (December 8). The awards are organised by the Great British Expos.

“I feel humbled and honoured to be recognised in this way. It was a very emotional moment for me. When I first arrived in the South West more than 20 years ago, I could not have imagined how friendly and welcoming this region would be. I feel very blessed to be able to work here,” Rachael said.

Her colleagues at Total Guide are not in the least surprised that Rachael won the award.

Liz Hutchings, founder of the Total Guide to franchise, said: “We all know how lucky we are to have Rachael as a key member of our team. For me personally Rachael is a rock and a wonderful friend and supporter.”

Rachael was one of several nominees from across the South West and the independent judging panel felt she deserved the award. They said:

“Rachael is a prolific and natural networker who has spent the past 20 plus years connecting businesses in the area. Not only to build Total Swindon but personally making valuable introductions and always genuinely wanting to help.”

TG is a franchise business established by Liz Hutchings back in 2012 with its parent site in Swindon and it also now has platforms in Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Reading and Manchester with more franchisees being considered for other cities and large towns nationwide.
