The FD Consultant, founded by London-based finance director Romesh Jeyaseelanayagam, takes home multiple business awards honouring the business’s commitment to customers and supporting SMEs.
Over the last weekend of April, The FD Consultant, visited both the Kingston Borough Business Awards and the Best SME Awards after being announced as finalists in four categories across the two business awards.
The consultancy firm provide fractional finance director and CFO support to start-ups and SMEs across the UK, working closely with founders who need senior financial expertise without appointing a full-time board-level hire.
On 23rd April, Romesh and his team headed to the Kingston Borough Business Awards which recognise businesses making a strong impact within the local business community. They were nominated in two categories and were announced as winners in the coveted Excellence in Customer Experience Award.
“We were absolutely thrilled to win Excellence in Customer Experience Award,” said Romesh. “These are prestigious awards, and although we operate nationally, we very much value the Kingston Borough economy and network where our HQ is based, so being named as finalists means a great deal to us.

Then, on 24th April, The FD Consultancy travelled to The Best SME Awards, where they were commended with Silver Awards in both the Best Enterprise and Best Innovation categories. These national awards recognise small and medium-sized businesses across the UK who show enterprise, innovation and leadership across a wide range of sectors.
