Microlise, a leading provider of innovative solutions for the transport sector, has announced the release of its brand-new Automate, Visualise and Deliver packages. Aimed at introducing scalable fleet management tools to thousands of small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the solutions help operators do more with less.
The suite, which grows in capability at the same time as the operator’s business grows, offers real-time fleet visibility, allows for proactive system analysis and increases process efficiency in fleets of between 11 and 100 vehicles.
It enables the operator to ‘Automate’ planning and optimisation processes, allowing them to take last-minute jobs on board – at later stages – giving planners the tools they need to complete work in shorter timeframes.
They can then ‘Visualise’ their entire day, executing a plan with full visibility of their fleet. This enables operators to more efficiently deal with priorities which, in turn, significantly improves customer service.
This results in the overall ‘Delivery’ of a great experience to the SME’s customer to provide accurate evidence of delivery statuses. The SMEs’ drivers’ experience is also significantly enhanced, with jobs fed to them on their own personal device and digitalised vehicle checks giving peace of mind.
The suite’s single-platform interface has been developed specifically to address pain points experienced by SMEs. Almost 80% of respondents to The State of Visibility report in 2023 and 2024 cited real-time visibility as a “must have”, while the Reuters European Supply Chain Report of 2022 found that end-to-end freight traceability was a pain point for 71% of respondents.
Microlise’s own report into transport management, ‘Standing at the Crossroads: A Crucial Moment for UK Logistics’ also found that 73% of respondents had experienced operational difficulties due to using multi-platform systems. In the report, more than half of respondents said they had been in disputes with customers over the condition of a delivery, with no way of proving who was at fault, something that could be easily resolved with ePOD capability.
Nadeem Raza, CEO at Microlise, said: “Our suite of products empowers small-to-medium-sized transport businesses to compete with the biggest players in their sector, without sacrificing the independence that makes them unique.
“We know the immense pride SME founders feel in building something from the ground up. That’s why our technology is designed to fuel their next stage of growth, breaking through barriers, boosting efficiency and unlocking enterprise-level capability.
“It’s not just a smart move for today; it’s a future-proof investment in the continued success and sustainability of the SME,” Raza added.
Microlise is backing the solution with a bold promise to SME customers by offering a free subscription for year two if fleet mileage doesn’t drop by at least 10% within the first 12-months of using the Microlise suite.
