Creative Nature Triumphs With Three Wins At The Free From Food Awards

Free-from food company Creative Nature has been celebrated with three awards at the Free From Food Awards, at the presentation ceremony in London.

Founded in 2012 by Julianne Ponan MBE, Creative Nature emerged from Julianne’s personal journey with multiple food allergies and anaphylaxis. The company’s dedication to creating delicious, safe, and inclusive food options has propelled it to the forefront of the industry.

The Free From Food Awards, established in 2008, are the UK’s premier awards recognising excellence in the free-from food and drink industry. Highly respected and trusted, these awards highlight the innovation and quality within this growing market.

Creative Nature’s Sticky Toffee Pudding Baking Mix won the Grocery Award. This latest addition to their baking mix range impressed judges with its delicious flavour and generous portion size.

“Winning the Grocery Award for our Sticky Toffee Pudding is a testament to our commitment to creating indulgent, allergen-safe products that everyone can enjoy,” said Julianne. “We are thrilled to see our efforts recognised with this award.”

In addition, the Sizzling BBQ Thins earned Gold in the Food Service Award category. Currently available on Virgin Atlantic flights, these flavourful thins have set a new standard for free-from snacks in the travel and hospitality industry.

“Taking home gold for our BBQ Thins in the Food Service Award is incredibly rewarding. It’s exciting to see our products making an impact at 35,000 feet, ensuring that even when traveling, those with allergies can enjoy delicious, safe snacks,” Julianne added.

The third accolade celebrated Julianne herself, who was honoured for her Services to Free From. She won the Free From Hero Award, presented by Tanya Ednan-Laperouse OBE, founder of The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation. The award acknowledges Julianne’s relentless advocacy and contributions to the free-from community.

“Being recognised for my services to Free From is incredibly humbling. My own struggles with allergies and anaphylaxis fuel my passion for advocating for greater inclusion. It is a great honour to be acknowledged for work that means so much to me” remarked Julianne.

Creative Nature is a pioneering brand in the free-from food industry, committed to providing high-quality, delicious, and safe food options for people with allergies and dietary restrictions.
