Engine – Set to transform business tendering with launch of AI tool

Posted By Greg Robinson on September 25, 2024 News

Pioneering AI company Engine, has launched Bid Writer, a revolutionary AI-powered tool which is designed to help businesses create proposal responses.

Headquartered in London, Engine specialises in building custom AI solutions known as ‘knowledge engines’, through which clients can instantly access the benefits of top-tier natural language AI without exposing their data or relying on unreliable online information.

Trained on an organisation’s previous bids, case studies, and sales material via retrieval augmented generative (RAG) AI, Bid Writer makes time consuming and complex business proposals a thing of the past, creating tailored responses in a client’s inhouse style within seconds.

Engine is confident Bid Writer will be well received by private and public sector organisations given user feedback during trials, The product has already enabled clients to generate first draft responses instantly, removing the need to always start from a ‘blank page’. Companies involved in the trial said they had been able to respond to and win more bids faster, answer detailed questions more accurately, and create one consistent ‘tone of voice’ across all proposals.

Kieron White, Co-founder of Engine

Kieron White, Co-founder of Engine, said: “We’re delighted to have launched our AI-powered Bid Writer which is specially designed to help teams focus on what truly matters: closing sales and driving growth. Having received excellent user feedback during the trial phase, we can’t wait to see many more businesses taking up our product, and unlocking all the benefits that it offers.”

Neil Watkins, Co-founder of Engine, added: “If you’re looking to streamline your proposal process and increase your win rate, this is the tool you’ve been waiting for. We’re excited to see how it will help you achieve even greater success!”

Founded in September 2023, Engine was created to help SMEs and public sector organisations to take advantage of the opportunities created by rapidly evolving AI innovations. The team at Engine wants organisations that do not necessarily have much in-house expertise or disposable cash to take advantage of AI cheaply, quickly, and easily, without having to manage the technicalities and risks involved.
