Stiltz Homelifts Gains Great Place To Work® Certification

Stiltz Homelifts has secured official recognition as a Great Place To Work®, highlighting its commitment to a people-first culture.

Headquartered in Kingswinford, West Midlands, the award‑winning homelift specialist has been Certified™ by Great Place To Work®, the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience and leadership behaviours.Lisa Osborne and Sarah Brearley from Stiltz's Talent Acquisition team

The certification, which is based entirely on employees’ views, saw 75% of Stiltz Homelifts’ employees saying it was a great place to work when surveyed earlier this year – a figure that sits 21 points above the average UK company.

Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent, intentional dedication to the overall employee experience and is the only official recognition based on real-time feedback from employees about their company culture. Being recognised as a top place to work, Stiltz proves to be a top place to work, according to its employees.

At Stiltz, this recognition is seen as just the start of a much longer journey, and Group People Director Tara Lochery is making employee experience one of her core priorities, working to develop a strong, positive wellness culture where there is genuine care for customers and for each other.TARA LOCHERY - Group People Director at Stiltz Homelifts

Regular employee satisfaction surveys have become part of Stiltz’s day-to-day operations, helping leadership listen, adjust, and improve, and this has helped the company reduce employee group turnover and increase UK headcount.

Beyond the accolade, there is a hard‑edged business case for creating a truly engaging workplace. Great Place To Work® research shows that job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a Certified™ great workplace. Employees in such organisations are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work and twice as likely to believe they are paid fairly, share in the company’s success, and have a genuine opportunity for promotion.

For Stiltz Homelifts, the Certification validates what its employees were already feeling: that a focus on wellness, fairness, and culture is not just good practice but part of its brand.
