Chemical Expert Becomes Sole Uk Distributor For Rebtech Products

Posted By Greg Robinson on October 17, 2024 News

Aaron Lee, the chemist and distribution consultant behind Alchem Trading, has been appointed as an exclusive partner with Ubib AG, distributing its REB Technologies innovative chemical products in the UK and Ireland.

RebTech’s products are cosmetic actives that deliver targeted skin and hair benefits, like reducing wrinkles or providing moisture. Encapsulating these ingredients in liposomes enhances their effectiveness by protecting them from degradation and helping them penetrate deeper skin layers, where they are most effective. Without encapsulation, many actives stay on the surface or only reach upper layers, reducing their efficacy.

“I’m delighted to be able to work in this way with Ubib AG, based in Switzerland, and to become their sole UK Aaron Lee of Alchem Trading Ltd, based in Oxfordshiredistributor. To have achieved this partnership in only my second year of business is a huge milestone for me,” Aaron said.

With nearly 15 years of expertise in procuring and distributing chemical materials for the cosmetics industry and other sectors, Aaron Lee embarked on a mission last year to redefine the old-fashioned approach to conducting business in the chemical sector. He’s put transparency and sustainability at the heart of his Oxfordshire based company.

Alchem Trading now offers access to a range of high-quality encapsulated actives from Rebtech, including ceramides and bakuchiol, which are valued for their effectiveness in both the cosmetics and pharmaceutical sectors.

These ingredients not only enhance product performance but also respond to the growing consumer demand for more sustainable and responsible products.

With new Retinol regulations, manufacturers must adapt their formulations. Alchem Trading offers RebTech’s Retinaldehyde LipoCaps and Bakuchiol LipoCaps as compliant alternatives, delivering equal or superior skin benefits. Retinaldehyde is a gentler Retinol derivative, while Bakuchiol is a plant-based option, both encapsulated for enhanced stability and effectiveness.

“In an industry as fast-moving as cosmetics, it’s essential to have products that stand out and differentiate themselves from others on the market. RebTech’s Encapsulated actives do just that. With the changes in legislation around the inclusion of Retinol, we are in a great position to help companies adjust their formulations and meet these challenges head-on.”

Aaron explains his new approach through his exclusive CLEAN framework which he uses a guide for building long term, modern client relationships.

It starts by identifying the unique needs of each business and finding partners that share similar values. Options are then carefully evaluated to ensure they align with the client’s goals, followed by clear agreements that prioritise fairness and transparency. Finally, nurturing these relationships is essential for long-term success, as Aaron believes that collaborative partnerships lead to shared achievements.

“As consumers increasingly focus on the environmental impact of their purchases, I am committed to offering sustainable, high-quality solutions. Through our partnership with Ubib AG, I am ready to meet the evolving needs of the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries, all while promoting responsible practices”.
