New Chief Revenue Officer joins CBS to drive strategic growth

Complete Background Screening (CBS), one of the UK’s most trusted screening providers, has appointed Ashley Decloquement-Davis as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), strengthening its leadership team as it enters a new phase of strategic growth.

Ashley brings over a decade of commercial leadership experience, most recently at Sterling, a global screening provider (now part of First Advantage), where she led a high-growth vertical across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and secured multi-million-pound contracts with global clients. She joins CBS, which has its HQ in South Wales, as it celebrates 20 years in business and continues to expand across the UK and international markets.

“CBS is a business that leads with integrity,” Ashley said. “What drew me here was a shared commitment to doing the right thing – for clients, for applicants and for the people behind the scenes. It’s rare to find a screening company that combines great technology with such a strong human focus.”

In her role as CRO, Ashley will lead revenue and commercial strategy, with a focus on sustainable growth, smarter sales processes and deepening client partnerships.

“I believe success comes from happy clients, a strong team and smart growth,” Ashley added. “For me, that means clients who see us as trusted partners, colleagues who feel supported and motivated, and a business that grows in a healthy and sustainable way. Achieving all three together is what makes a company truly thrive.”

Rachel Bedgood, CEO and founder of CBS, said “Ashley brings exactly the kind of experience we need – not just to grow revenue, but to strengthen how we operate and deliver as a business. She has a proven track record in scaling enterprise sales, and she brings a clear, people-first mindset that fits right in at CBS. Her focus on ethical, sustainable growth aligns with our values and I’m looking forward to the energy and direction she’ll bring – both to our business and to our roots here in South Wales.”

Founded in 2005, CBS is one of the UK’s most trusted providers of pre-employment screening, including DBS, BPSS and BS7858 checks. The company supports thousands of organisations across the UK and internationally – from NHS trusts and local authorities to global brands, financial institutions, charities and education providers. The company has its HQ in South Wales.

CBS combines regulatory expertise with a flexible, people-first approach – delivering tailored, tech-enabled screening that helps employers stay compliant, build trust and protect their people.

Today, CBS employs more than 20 people and is trusted by organisations including G4S, ITV and the British Heart Foundation. For more information, visit https://cbscreening.co.uk
